Ford will be delivering 403 Transit vans to British Gas, 343 of these will be the medium wheelbase (MWB) transit models and the other 40 will be all wheel drive (AWD) models. British Gas has opted for Ford Transit vans to strengthen its fleet as the UK prepares for another freezing cold winter.

These new Ford Transits in London will boost the British Gas fleet to over 1,000 Ford Transits. The new agreement between Ford and British Gas is part of a vehicle replacement programme for the gas company so that its engineers can continue to make on average 10,000 service calls every day.
